Finally the snow has arrived in this corner of Maine. The weather this winter has been so unpredictable the weathermen must be scratching their heads. We did receive a little over 6 inches of snow on Thursday, but then the winds started blowing from the south which brought the temp up and the rain down. No need to despair though, because the second storm has arrived and the snow is piling up very quickly. Already this morning we have another 3 inches on the ground with radar indicating another 3 to 6 throughout the day.

The groomer from Oquossoc completed his appointed rounds last night and their was a lot of snow on the drag when he turned around in the parking lot. Also, all reports from the back country are snow, snow and more snow. Winter is not over and their will be plenty of riding well into March so load up the sled and call for your reservation. If your schedule is flexible, trails mid-week are a little quieter.

The snow is falling this morning here at Bosebuck Mountain Camps. We are under overcast skies with a current temperature of 22 degrees. The extended forecast is calling for similar conditions for the next 4 to 5 days. Although we have only received a trace amount of snow over the past few days, there has been a reasonable amount of accumulation at higher elevations. Trails in and around town are thin in spots and may be icy, but the groomer has been out every other day to maintain the trails.

It has been a very busy week for us and of course with many schools having vacation this week we have seen lots of families enjoying the great outdoors together. They are out on the trails sledding and with temperatures in the twenties conditions make it easy to spend the day outside having fun.

Happy Valentine's Day

Yes, it's the day to express your affection for loved ones near and dear to your heart. Hugs & kisses to all our family and friends and for those who love the snow, it's falling right now at Bosebuck Mountain Camps. Not sure how much will accumulate, but we'll take all Mother Nature has to dish out. The groomer from Oquossoc was in on Friday and will be out again tonight. Trail traffic was very heavy yesterday so you may find some thin &/or icy spots along ITS84 today. Reports from the Pittsburgh, NH trail systems are good to excellent and they typically groomer daily.

The current temperature is 21 degrees and looking ahead to the extended forecast for this week, snow showers should be around for several days with a good chance of some decent accumulation on Tuesday. Let's all cross our fingers because with the nice solid base on the trail system fresh snow would really be the icing on the cake.

Eastern Fishing & Outdoor Expo

If you find yourself in Worcester, Mass in the next day or so, please stop by our booth #317 and say hello to Rick and Jack. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about Bosebuck and book your fishing or hunting adventure.

Although we have not had any new snow in several days, the trails have been groomed and we have plenty of snow. The riding is good and higher elevations have even better conditions as well as back country. We are fully booked this weekend, but have some openings for the next two so give us a call.

There is plenty of snow here at Bosebuck Mountain Camps and the surrounding area especially in the higher elevations and back-country. The groomer from Oquossoc made his trip in last night so the trails are groomed to nice smooth, hard & fast conditions.

The sun came up right on time and although it's a little chilly, 3 below right now, it will soon warm up and be a perfect day to ride. The wind of the past few days has even subsided, improving conditions even more.

We have had a very busy week so far and many of our lunch guests have indicated that this area has the best conditions for riding. Even though we didn't receive the two feet of snow that has crippled our capital, we still have plenty to ride and enjoy the great outdoors.

$39.00 Per Person Rate Special*

With all this bright, beautiful sunshine we have this morning at camp there is no reason that groundhog should not see his shadow. Therefore, I conclude we will have another 6 weeks of winter for all of you to enjoy. Haven't you ever heard that saying.... "fun in the sun"? That doesn't necessarily mean on the beach.

By the way happy 45th birthday sis! Hope you have a wonderful day and have a piece of cake for me.

The wind has finally subsided but temperatures remain on the cold side, currently at 4 below but rising. The trails couldn't be in better condition so head on up to camp and have some fun. When you call to make your reservation, be sure to mention our Internet special of $39.00 per person, per night (*two person, two night minimum stay required and does not include tax & gratuity).

We have not forgotten our fishermen or summer guests and are looking forward to your arrival. If you are considering a spring or summer stay here at Bosebuck, I would urge you to call now as we have many dates that are completely booked already.
