2012-2013 Winter Season ending March 30th

The end of the 2012-2013 Winter Season is fast approaching.  Even though we received a good charge of snow a couple days ago, the sun is warm and spring riding is at it's peak.

Our lodging and dining room will close next Saturday, March 30th at 3PM.  Gasoline will still be available until 7pm daily.  Thanks for a great season and perhaps we will see some of you for fishing or summer recreation.

We welcomed the first day of Spring 2013 at Bosebuck Mountain Camps with 16 inches of new snow and it's still coming down.  Why we had to wait until the last day of winter for a good old fashioned snow storm, I just don't know.  I find it quite exasperating. However, those of you who haven't packed that sled away yet, will have some awesome riding for the next few days.

Yes, this is a current picture and yes, it's snowing here at Bosebuck Mountain Camps.  We have at least one inch of new snow on the ground and it's still coming down.  Current temperature is 25 degrees.

Expect spring riding conditions, some icy spots and perhaps thin in some areas but overall there is still some great riding to be enjoyed.

Our dining room is till open 7 days a week for breakfast 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM and lunch served from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Yes, the thermometer hit 50 degrees here and yes, we did receive some rain.  But we did have a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning and the temperature has dropped to 32 degrees so Mike is headed out in the groomer as I compose this post.  The forecast for the next several days is calling for temps in the low twenties to high teens overnight with snow on Saturday and perhaps again on Tuesday.  I will have a better idea of trail conditions when Mike returns.

We did have a few riders in camp today and they reported the trails weren't too bad.  High traffic areas and some corners were thin, but overall, conditions were good.
