After last nights frigid temperature of 20 below zero, the sun has risen this morning and the mercury has already reach a balmy 1 degree. Trails are in great shape and our cabins are full for this weekend.
Please note that do to the large number of lodging guests this weekend and next, we will not have any room for "park & ride" trucks/trailers. There are two small plowed areas off the road at mile marker 10 and mile mark 11 for parking. But keep in mind, there are active logging operations ongoing so you cannot park in the road.

We received about three inches of snow yesterday and it is continuing to snow this morning. Current temp is 28 degrees. Mark came in from Rangeley by sled this morning and reported ITS84 is in mint condition. BMR & RLSC groomers were out yesterday and everything from the NH border to Oquossoc/Rangeley was groomed. Time to load up that sled and hit the trails.

We have had a couple of days with temps in the forties and of course some melting did occur. However, the mercury has dropped well below freezing overnight to a current 25 degrees and we have light snow falling right now.
The 10 day forecast is calling for an extended period of cold temperatures at or below zero for several days. Add in the snow that falls on a daily basis in this area, and the trails will be back in mint condition.
Don't forget Snodeo in Rangeley on the 25th, 26th & 27th which also happens to be reciprocity on the snowmobile trails with Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. We have a few cabins left, so call soon if are looking to enjoy these events.

ITS84 OPEN
The loggers have moved out and the trail from Rangeley is now open all the way to Bosebuck. We are open for lunch daily from 11 AM to 3PM. Their groomer made the first run of the season yesterday. Mike will be out tonight in Bosebuck Mountain Rider's groomer. He will groom from Bosebuck to the NH border and then over to the turn around point at Camp 14.
We awoke this morning to 5 inches of snow so plowing and shovel are the plans of the day.

Trails have a great base, Bosebuck Mountain Riders have been grooming and the trail from Oquossoc should be fully open this week. Most of the ongoing logging operations have pulled out so the groomers will be out putting things in order.
Please keep in mind, for those of you driving into Bosebuck, the road is plowed and you will meet vehicle traffic, including log trucks on Parmachenee Road.
Our dining room is open for breakfast from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, lunch from 11:00AM to 3:00 PM and dinner by reservation only at 6PM. You call 207-670-0013 to make dinner reservations at least 24 hours in advance.
