We're back and our Internet service is back too, but the ice is still here. Mike & I enjoyed 10 sunny days in Florida and try as I might to bring that warm weather back with me to Maine, it just didn't happen. Cold nighttime temperatures and even colder, snowy days have hung on. As you can see in today's webcam photo, the rivers have started to open and the ice is beginning to break up, but most likely it will be another week before the ice is gone here at the north end of the lake.
We are looking forward to welcoming back our returning spring fishermen and greeting new guests beginning on May 9th. We still have some availability in Mid-May and a few days at the end of the month too. Call or email if you can sneak away for a few days to wet a line.

The calendar may indicate that spring has arrived, but I can tell you it hasn't come this far northwest just yet. The overnight low was only 14 degrees and the wind has been howling bringing with it light snow showers for the past week.
Mike and I would like to extend or thanks to all our winter guests and hope to see you all next year. Thanks also to our hard working staff who help to make this operation a success. Both Chad and Dana have decided to tackle new opportunities elsewhere so they will not be returning to Bosebuck when we re-open for spring fishing on May 9th. We wish them well in their new endeavors.
As usual our spring project list is quite long but with the help of John C. & Jerry, we have already crossed off a few items. If the weather doesn't cooperate soon, the outside chores will just have to wait. Plenty to do inside, so we won't be bored.
Our spring fishing season is already heavily booked, so if you are still thinking about fly fishing the upper Magalloway watershed you should be picking up the phone right now. The same goes for our Fall dates too.
